Additionally, she wears gelled, tiny braids on the back of head that are clipped up, causing some of her tresses to appear messy and jagged. Between her breasts, Miyajima has a colored tattoo of an aster flow she had gotten inked soon after entering adulthood. Her lips are full and plush—her favored lipstick being lilac, and adjacent on the spectrum. Below her mouth and to the left, she has a striking mark that makes her easily recognizable. She has grayish-blue eyes and a beauty mark below her left one. Her wardrobe consists of popular name-brand clothing, making her incredibly fashionable. KANAME is a kind, respectful young woman to almost everyone she interacts with. However, the skeletons that waltz in her closet would propose that her sweetness will leave a sour aftertaste on anyone tasting too much of it. No one is as perfect as a surface-level, filtered image may suggest—and flaws—evolving through time—can’t stay invisible forever. Though not having a large posse of friends, she was quite popular during her time at Gekkokaun High School. As a member of the photography club, she was incredibly sociable with her peers and patient with those who didn't seem too keen on mingling with other students. This lead to her forming a friendship with one of the school's delinquents; a transfer student, Shinobu Fujihara. Navigating through the anti-social behavior of this student, at the beginning of their relationship, Kaname and Shinobu had struggled bonding with their clashing personalities always trying to overturn one another. He was one of the few individuals able to expose the anger and stress she bottled up—the two nearly getting into physical altercations every other day after school. Owed to the girl’s sheer force of will, she was able to put a crack in Shinobu’s tough shell, inspiring him, if only occasionally, to mellow out on school campus.

However, her relations with certain people have forced her into adapting to the environment that comes with them. Her old bovfriend had roots in a yakuza family, which led to Kaname eventually directly extorting her connections for easy money. Holding no real admiration towards her supposed partner, she even went as far as to talk behind his back.

A mysterious young lady. Despite her easygoing, easily approachable personality, nobody knows much about her past a surface level. Not even her past.Kaname Miyajima was born in Iwatodai City on Tatsumi Port Island to a CAD Engineer father and a physician mother. With her parents ever busy working their hectic jobs, they never had the time to properly care for Kaname. She grew up emotionally distant from both of them and relied on her extended family and peers for supervision throughout most of her adolescence. In junior high, she found her love for cameras and the art of photography after one of her friends, a foreign exchange student named Lyra, had shown Kaname printed out photographers of American landmarks. She attended Gekkoukan High School where she became a profound member of the photography club and a freelance teenager photographer in her spare time. And, most infamously, she became the girlfriend of a yakuza syndicate affiliate in her class. Keeping her involvement with the family a secret, their negligence made it far too easy, while rumors of the two were quick to spread around the school. This, accompanied by the indifference towards her parents and the crippling uncertainty of a career after graduation, the mental toll had started to impact her physically—cursing her with frequent migraines and psychogenic fevers. To cope, Kaname had developed a smoking habit and a reliance on prescription drugs after several clinic visits. All of it numbed the stress, but only temporarily while introducing its own set of problems as the big, proper trade off. But she'd manage beyond everything—even her incautious coping mechanisms—to dedicate her years at Gekkoukan to what gave her life. To photography; her artistic passions. To her studies. To her closest friend, Shinobu Fujihara—helping him through his own set of issues that were leading him down a darker path. But her selflessness could only do so much in the face of stubbornness.After Shinobu had dropped out and moved to Tokyo, ultimately failing to make use of her help. During his departure, Kaname had seemingly disappeared with him—with no one seeing either on campus during the second semester of their third year. The time that passed obscured their relationship within a thick haze, and the two friends never heard from each other again. That is, until recent day. After Shinobu had fallen into a deep coma after creating a new life for himself, he awakened on a hospital gurney months later in pure distraught, his old friend, Kaname Miyajima making a strange reappearance over his bed—there in the flesh to make up for lost time.

When Loki tricked Hodr into killing the god of light Baldr with a spear of mistletoe, Hel set an impossible task as a condition for restoring him to life.
